Honor Flight Mission XXV takes 75 local veterans to nation’s capitol

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Honor Flight Mission XXV takes 75 veterans from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport to Washington, D.C. for a day of remembrance and reflection. The chartered flight departs and returns the same day, carrying veterans on a whirlwind tour of the nation’s capital.There has been a slight update and adjustment to the flight with a new departure time and flight number. The new flight number for the trip from SRQ to IAD is 4960. The new flight number for the return trip from IAD to SRQ is 4961, for all relatives and friends looking to track the flight. The plane was able to depart shortly after 6:30am instead of the scheduled 5:45am.
