SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Winds will begin to shift to the SE on Friday and this will bring some changes our way. The rain chance will remain high on Friday for mainly afternoon and evening storms.This wind shift will mean storms will be moving from inland areas toward the Gulf. Isaias will get rid of the frontal boundary that has brought all the rain recently. Friday look for showers and thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon and evening. We will see partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions on Friday. Winds will be out of the east southeast at 10-15 mph gusting to 20 at times.Saturday with plenty of tropical moisture still in place we will once again see scattered mainly afternoon and early evening storms. Expect to see partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 80s with a heat index nearing 100 degrees.Sunday we will see partly cloudy skies with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms which will bring some heavy rain at times.
