SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) — The first Strider Cup World Championship in Sarasota is set for Oct. 10, marking the race’s 15th anniversary.Riders from Japan, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, Aruba and across the United States are expected to compete. A beach celebration is planned for Sunday.The event begins at 9 a.m. at Sarasota BMX, 1950 N. Tuttle Ave., Sarasota, FL 34237. Children of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate.
