SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The Suncoast is in for more sunshine, but hold onto your hats—it’s going to be breezy! A strong high-pressure system is building over the northeast and extending down through Florida, while a stationary frontal boundary sits across the Florida Straits. This setup is creating gusty northeast winds that will be our main story through the middle of next week. Sunday turns windier as the system strengthens. Expect sunny skies to continue, but those northeast winds will really pick up, making it feel more energetic outside. Next week stays in the same pattern—mainly dry and windy with northeast winds continuing to blow. TROPICAL OUTLOOK - NEXT 7 DAYSThe National Hurricane Center is not expecting any tropical cyclone formation over the next seven days across the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico. The Suncoast remains in good shape with no tropical threats on the horizon.🎾 Saturday Sports Forecast – More WindRemember the sunscreen and watch out for the
